Sarah has come a long long way since her diagnosis of Leukemia in 1999 when she was just 2 years old.  

Initially she was admitted to Boston  Children’s Hospital for 30 days where she was diagnosed and put on an intensive 24 month chemotherapy protocol.

After being released from Children‘s Hospital, Sarah's treatments continued regularly at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute until April 2002. Current check-ups are annual.

Today Sarah is a happy, energetic third grader in remission ~ Sadly, some of Sarah's friends at the Hospital lost the battle with Cancer.
